BRSCC Nankang Tyre BMW Compact Cup Championship winner.

 

Steven is still the only BMW compact cup driver to have held the Scottish and British Championship title and the only driver to have won the Compact Cup championship for 5 consecutive years. A massive achievement to a driver who only came into saloon car circuit racing late in 2013 when he completed a few race meetings to shake down a new race car built by KC Motorsports.  From that first shake down meeting Steven has entered 150 Races and has had 90 Podium visits including 60 race wins and won 6 championships over a 7 year period.

 

Not many can state statistics as good as that!

2021 - A Fifth National title retained in the Nankang tyres BMW Compact cup.

Steven has recently completed his debut in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge, Showing his talent by gaining POLE POSITION and WON on his first attempt at the series, supporting the British Touring Car Championship, LIVE on ITV 4, with tens of thousands of fans trackside. an incredible achievement for Steven.  

2020 - Steven retains his National title for a fourth consecutive year in the Nankang tyres BMW Compact Cup. 

2019 - At the end of 2018 I sold my championship winning car as I was looking to try something different. Near the start of the 2019 season nothing was arranged and I asked the KC Motorsport team to build me a new BMW compact cup race car. In a very short window my new car rolled out there facility and I defended my double championship position.

2018 - Was all about defending his champion position in the BRSCC BMW Compact Cup Championship. Steven started the season as the ONLY Driver to win championship in both the Scottish and the British series. He finished with consecutive championship wins as well as a  3rd in the national driver championship.

2017 - Steven campaigned and won the BMW Race Days Compact Cup Championship. It was a hard fought series with close battles and challenges throughout the year. Steven in his KC Motorsport prepared race car was announced the series champion at the BRSCC annual awards dinner.

2016 - Steven as the Scottish Champion made his debut in the English series. It kicked off at Brands Hatch a track that Steven finds very comparable to his home track Knockhill. He quickly settled in taking pole, a win, and a second place. He went on to take a well deserved 3rd in the overall championship.

2015 - Steven focused on winning the Scottish BMW Compact Cup Championship in BMW #2 and was successfully becoming the first Scottish BMW Compact Cup Champion to Win 15 races from 15 starts As a bonus Steven was also awarded the coveted BMRC Champion of Champions.

2014 - Steven is finished second in the Scottish BMW Compact Cup Championship in BMW 84, Only 21 points behind the winner and 151 Points ahead of 3rd place. 

2013 - Steven started saloon racing in the BMW Compact Cup Scottish Series in Car 84. His BMW expertly prepared by KC MOTORSPORT was a late entry for the season and managed a win at the final event.

2010 - Back to Karts and finished an impressive 3rd in the Scottish Championship.

2004-2009 - Steven focused on education and work relations. 

2003 - Graduated to Junior Kart Racing, Multiple Race wins, Driver of the year award. 

 

2002 - Open Scottish Karting Champion, Super Series Champion, Scottish Champion, NKRA Driver of the year, Multiple Club Championships, Raced for

 

Scotland in the Five Nations Karting Championship.

2001 - Open Scottish Karting Champion2000 - First Kart Race & Novice of the Year.

1996 - First appearance at Crail raceway at the age of four.
